Hope for Shelter Animals: 4 Ways You Can Change the Lives of Rescue Dogs and Cats

Hope for Rescue Dogs and Cats

Here at Michelson Found Animals, we are filled with hope when it comes to shelter animals. Every day more pets are saved and we see a bright future ahead. Here are four ways you can change the lives of rescue dogs and cats!

Donate

Making a money donation to a shelter or rescue is the quickest and easiest way to impact the life of an animal. You don’t need to be rolling in cash to make a difference either. Every dollar counts and can make a real difference! You can search for your local shelters and rescues at our resource center here.

Volunteer

We want to take all the dogs and cats home. There’s not a single employee at Found Animals who doesn’t dream of buying a farm and rescuing every last homeless animal and giving them a home. Unfortunately that dream isn’t very realistic. That’s where volunteering comes in. It’s a great way to spend time with adorable animals without taking them home with you.

Foster

Fostering is a great way to save the lives of rescue dogs and cats, even if you can’t make a long-term commitment. In fact, we are actively looking for foster parents who can commit for as little as two weeks. Fosters care for a variety of pets, so whether you want to look after baby kittens or a senior dog, there’s an opportunity for you. You can apply here.

Adopt

The bond between a rescue dog or cat and their owner is incomparable. The love and gratitude they share is simply like no other. Who saved who? We believe strongly in the power of pet adoption, so we offer dog and cat adoptions in the Los Angeles area. You can find a variety of adoptable cats, dogs, kittens and puppies at our Culver City and Lakewood stores. Each pet has so much love to give! Even if you don’t live in the Los Angeles area, you can use our pet search tool to look for your four-legged soulmate.
