We can’t help pets without people

Sign up for one of these exciting volunteer opportunities:

Pet Food Packing

Join us as a Pet Food Packing Volunteer and help prepare nutritious food bags for cats and dogs in need! As part of our regular pet food distribution program, which partners with local human food distributions, and our monthly pet events, volunteers will play a key role in assembling and organizing pet food packages for families and individuals with pets.

Pet Pantry Community Ambassador

Join us as a Pet Food Pantry Community Ambassador. You’ll help ensure pets receive the nourishment they deserve by supporting our food pantry operations and helping distribute food to pet owners during our distributions.

Event Support

As an Event Support Volunteer, you will assist with various tasks, such as setting up and breaking down the event space, distributing pet food, registering microchips, checking in attendees, making pet ID tags, providing information, assisting staff and Community Partners, and much more.
Events can range from Better Neighbor Project-led and organized events to community events to which BNP is invited to bring pet support. You’ll play an integral role in ensuring that events run smoothly and that pets and their owners are supported in any event the program is a part of.
