DESCRIPTION:Since its inception in 2020\, Michelson Found Animals Foundation’s Better Neighbor Project (BNP) has served over 86\,000 pets throughout LA County. On Saturday\, May 10th\, BNP will partner with Assemblymember Mike Fong to host a Pet Wellness Day event\, where organizations come together to provide free pet wellness services\, free pet food\, surrender prevention\, and other educational resources and offerings.  \nThe event is open to the public\, with appointments required for services requested in advance. Limited walk-ups will be accepted on-site if available. The appointment-based services are wellness (microchips\, vaccinations\, and flea treatment) and hygiene (teeth brushing\, nail trimming\, and ear cleaning). Other pet resources and supplies (engraved ID tags\, collars\, leashes\, etc.) and resources for pet owners will also be available to all. \nTo make an appointment\, visit tinyurl.com/petday10. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, February 9\, our Better Neighbor Project is joining Support and Feed’s community event at  Iglesia Adventista Del Septimo Dia in Pasadena\, CA\, where we will come together with Community Animal Medicine Project\, Cena Vegan\, Anaheim Prancing Pups Mobile to provide pets affected by the LA Wildfires with veterinary care\, grooming services\, pet food and supplies\, and pet owners with warm plates. \nThe event is from 12pm – 4pm and is first come\, first serve\, and wellness services are limited to the first 75 pets. Veterinary care provided by the Community Animal Medicine Project includes exams\, vaccines and preventatives\, and treatment for minor injuries and burns wounds for dogs and cats. Anaheim Prancing Pups Mobile will offer dog baths\, sanitary cuts\, ear cleanings\, and basic hygiene services while supplies last. In addition\, our team will distribute pet food\, register microchips\, and offer engraved ID tags.  \nThank you to our community for all your support during these difficult times. Veterinary care provided by Wallis Annenberg PetSpace includes exams\, vaccines & preventatives and treatment for minor injuries and burns wounds for dogs and cats. Furtown will be offering baths\, sanitary cuts\, ear cleanings and basic hygiene services while supplies last.
