DESCRIPTION:When: Monday\, September 18\, 2023\,  11am -1pm  \n\n1-hour career session with Jess Johnson (Chief Academy Officer\, West Coast Grooming Academy) & Marco Lalau (Grooming Entrepreneur)\n1-hour employer mingling/career fair\n\nWhere: Hosted at Groomers Pro \n3437 W El Segundo Blvd\, Hawthorne\, CA 90250 \nParking: Limited parking is available at Common Space Brewery or street parking \nHosted by the Michelson Institute for Pet Professions (MIPP) and Groomers Pro\, join us for a free grooming-focused learning session and career fair for new and working pet groomers in Los Angeles! Current students and graduates from West Coast Grooming Academy (WCGA) and the MIPP program in LA are invited to attend\, as well as any new groomer\,  who can mingle with numerous grooming salons and mobile companies that are growing their workforce. \nIt’s important for new groomers to find their best fit and know what they should consider to have the best experience\, so attendees will have the chance to talk to hirers and receive not only pointers but potential job opportunities.
