SUMMARY:Pet Wellness Day - Día del bienestar de las mascotas
DESCRIPTION:Since its inception in 2020\, Michelson Found Animals Foundation’s Better Neighbor Project (BNP) has served over 86\,000 pets throughout LA County. On Saturday\, May 10th\, BNP will partner with Assemblymember Mike Fong to host a Pet Wellness Day event\, where organizations come together to provide free pet wellness services\, free pet food\, surrender prevention\, and other educational resources and offerings.  \nThe event is open to the public\, with appointments required for services requested in advance. Limited walk-ups will be accepted on-site if available. The appointment-based services are wellness (microchips\, vaccinations\, and flea treatment) and hygiene (teeth brushing\, nail trimming\, and ear cleaning). Other pet resources and supplies (engraved ID tags\, collars\, leashes\, etc.) and resources for pet owners will also be available to all. \nTo make an appointment\, visit tinyurl.com/petday10.
