Oreo was adopted from the Cat Adoption Center as a kitten. He was recently returned because his owner moved to a new place with a no pet policy. Though he was settled into a home for 2 years, it took him about a week to settle back into life at the Adoption Center where he was king of the Catnip Patch. If you've never visited the CAC, the "Catnip Patch" is our community room where the cats hang out, nap, play and get to know potential adopters. Now he is one of our newest residents at Adopt & Shop! Oreo gets along well with other cats but seems more interested in people. He likes to sit on the stairs near the window and whenever someone comes into the patch - he hops down and is so eager to get all of their attention. It's like he knows how all of this works and he's ready to be back in a home of his own. This time around, we want to be extra sure Oreo gets an owner that can commit to him for the rest of his life, regardless of when and where they move.
