Welcome to The ModPawd! The FIRST live media webcast studio and adoption annex ever built at a municipal animal care facility. Found Animals and SEAACA have partnered on this groundbreaking initiative to bring attention to municipal animal care centers globally, find homes for adoptable animals and lower euthanasia rates within the animal shelter system.
On March 30th, 2010 The ModPawd opened to the public. It houses wonderful, adoptable pets all year long. The PawdCast, our new 24 hour web cam, offers you TWO entertaining ways to engage with the cool people and adoptable pets at The ModPawd. FIRST, tune in every week day at 4pm PDT for our exclusive half hour moderated web series. SECOND, log on 24/7 to enjoy the antics of our latest residents in the community cat room.
 With an estimated 6 to 8 million dogs and cats entering U.S. animal shelters yearly and approximately 50% of them euthanized, most often for the simple lack of a home, The ModPawd strives to find a solution to this difficult challenge. Through entertainment, education and support, Found Animals believes The ModPawd can make a difference in the lives of humans and pets alike.
