Volunteer
Do you love animals? Do you want to make a difference in their lives? If you are driven by the desire to help Found Animals reduce shelter euthanasia and increase pet adoption, then we look forward to meeting you. Our volunteers are afforded the opportunity to make a positive impact on their community, one animal at a time.

We ask all volunteers to make a six-month commitment to our organization and volunteer at least 10 hours per month.

Current volunteer opportunities:

The PawdSquad

Found Animals is partnering with SEAACA (Southeast Area Animal Care Authority) in Downey, CA. Our new state-of-the-art annex, The ModPawd, will house up to 25 cats that are available for adoption. We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers who are committed to providing superior care to our feline residents. Volunteers working in The ModPawd will assist with adoption counseling, cleaning kennels, socializing cats and assisting with The PawdCast (an original web series broadcast live five days a week).

We are currently accepting volunteer applications. If you are available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday and if you are available from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. please click on the application link here.

Found Animals is recruiting volunteers to assist us throughout the year with adoption events and outreach. Your participation will be needed for our biannual adoption events and periodic outreach efforts with our partner organizations.
