Found Animals Foundation is Looking for the Best "All American Tails"
September 29, 2008,  Los Angeles - Found Animals Foundation calls to the public those looking to strut their mutt in their pet Pit Bull contest.

Found Animals Foundation is looking for the best Pit Bull in the Southern California area. They want to know why your Pit Bull is a love-a-bull family member, a hug-a-bull therapy dog or a wonder-bull agility dog. In honor of Veteran’s Day, FAF is also searching for the best patriotic pair; an armed forces veteran or current service member and their pit bull pet!

Entering is a wag away at www.foundanimals.org by submitting your story about your All-American Pit Bull in 500 words or less with a photo of yourself and your bull by the evening of October 30, 2008. The contest is open to the following breeds and their mixes only: American Bulldog, American Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

Each winner will be featured on the FAF’s website and will act as an ambassador of the breed starting in 2009 as a “Found Animals Foundation Ambassadog!” Winners will be asked to appear at press events, on marketing materials and at the upcoming All-American Adopt-A-Bull Extravaganza: A Pit Bull Adoption Event on November 8th. Winners will also receive a one year supply of premium dog food, a deluxe swag bag from Healthy Spot, a $100 gift card from Petco, a professional portrait of the owner and their Pit Bull from Eric Raptosh Photography in Venice, CA, and a make-over for the owner.

There’s no Bull about it, Found Animals Foundation is looking for the next All-American Tail. Like Petey from the “Little Rascals” gang, or Sgt. Stubby, America’s first canine war hero, who saved a troop of men by alerting them to a gas attack and who graced Parade magazine’s cover, FAF wants to hear your tale.

Found Animals Foundation is a 501(c)(3) private operating foundation created to address the issue of pet overpopulation in Los Angeles and minimize the number of homeless animals euthanized in Los Angeles area shelters.
