The winning entry for the Michelson Prize in Reproductive Biology will have, at minimum, the following characteristics:
Process All prize claims will be reviewed by Found Animals and their scientific advisors. Claimants will be required to submit a data package demonstrating satisfactory achievement of the prize criteria. Found Animals may ask for clarification or request additional data in order to verify a prize claim. Guidelines All animal research performed in pursuit of the Michelson Prize in Reproductive Biology must conform to Found Animals' standards for humane treatment of animal subjects. In order to claim the Michelson Prize in Reproductive Biology, the claiming entity must agree to all prize terms and conditions and certify that all prize guidelines were followed. Found Animals expects exclusive commercialization rights to the prize winning product. The Foundation intends to pursue further development and commercialization activities as needed to bring the winning product or technology to market for use in cats and dogs.
