Our first retail adoption store, located in Lakewood, CA, houses shelter cats and dogs that are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated and ready for their forever homes! Volunteers donating their time at Adopt & Shop assist with the following:
- Cleaning kennels
- Adoption counseling
- Socializing cats/dogs
- Photographing and taking videos of available pets
How to get started:
- Complete an on-line application
- Attend an orientation
- Participate in a phone interview
- Once accepted into the program, begin training sessions
