Update: 2/29/12 Oreo has been adopted!

This is Oreo, doesn't he have the most gorgeous green eyes ever ?

Oreo was adopted from the Cat Adoption Center as a kitten. He was recently returned because his owner moved to a new place with a no pet policy. Though he was settled into a home for 2 years, it took him about a week to settle back into life at the Adoption Center and now he is king of the Catnip Patch. If you've never visited the CAC, the "Catnip Patch" is our community room where the cats hang out, nap, play and get to know potential adopters.

Oreo gets along well with other cats but seems more interested in people.  He likes to sit on the stairs near the window and whenever someone comes into the patch - he hops down and is so eager to get all of their attention. It's like he knows how all of this works and he's ready to be back in a home of his own.

Oreo is a domestic long haired, 2 year old male kit cat. He has big green eyes and looks like he has a little calico and tuxedo mixed in there. He has a really cute "trapdoor chin" and amazing eye whiskers and ear hair. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all of his vaccinations.

This time around, we want to be extra sure Oreo gets an owner that can commit to him for the rest of his life, regardless of when and where they move. If you or someone you know might like to meet Mr. Green Eyes, please share his page and help spread the word.
