TweetWould you like to get your pet microchipped, but you just can’t seem to remember on Microchip Mondays? Well you are in luck! Adopt & Shop is now offering appointments for pet microchipping 7 days a week!
In case you were not aware that there was even any such thing as our “Microchip Mondays”, here is a little background.… In February of this year Adopt & Shop began offering microchipping services to the public every Monday. For a cost of only $15 you can bring your dog or cat in at any time during normal business hours to have them microchipped in a matter of minutes. You even have the option of registering your pet’s new microchip number in the Found Animals Microchip Registry while you wait! The whole process is quick, easy & virtually painless; allowing you & your pet to get right back to going about your day.
Even though our microchip business has been steadily climbing each week, we began to realize that it may be difficult for some people to make it down on a Monday with the “work week” just getting started and the kids going back to school, etc. So in order to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to take advantage of this form of permanent ID for their beloved pets, we are now offering appointments for our microchipping service 7 days a week!* Of course, you will still have the option of just walking in between 10am and 7:30pm every Monday to have your pet microchipped. But if you would prefer to come on another day of the week, just give us a call at (562) 531-2871 to schedule an appointment. (*Please understand that while we will always try our best to accommodate your appointment request, available times may be limited due to the number of staff we will have on hand for that particular day.)
So what are you waiting for? Accidents happen every day. An indoor cat may get out through a window that was left cracked open or dash out the front door when it stays open just a moment too long. A dog can also get out through an open door or gate; or they may slip out of their collar while on a walk one evening and take off after some cat down the street that catches their eye. An animal is not able to “tell” the person who finds them where they live. Which is precisely why a microchip registered with current contact information for the owner is so important!
Don’t wait until it’s too late! Call (562) 531-2871 to schedule your microchip appointment today!
